TOENAIL WATER MARBLE..NO TAPE..NO DIPPING!!! WOW

Hi people!  I was surfing blogs and videos during the last week and saw one that I love and am sure you will too!!!  I have thought about water marbling my toenails for summer, but thought about it and said "nah don't think I want to tape my toes up and try and dip them in a cup.  Regular polish will have to do".  That was till I saw this.  You will need all your regular supplies plus a ziplock bag.  You need to cut the bag into circles (leave a little tab on edge) that will fit on top of your water in your cup.  Now start out like normal and make your bulls eye.

Continue with your design.

Now take one of your circles and put it on top of the design.  If you need to use your toothpick to make sure it is covering your design.

Let it sit for about 15 - 20 seconds and then grab the little tab, using tweezers makes this easier and remove.  It will have a tendency to curl.

Sit it on a paper towel with design facing up.  Try to straighten out as much as you can, using tweezers and toothpick.

Sit and let dry.

I am going to show you a few more pics of designs I did.  Once they are dry you can put them in your manicure kit and save till you are ready to use.  After the pics I will show you how to use them.

OK now take your plastic circle with the design and cut to approximate size of nail that you are applying it to.  Apply base color to nail and wait approximate 4 minutes, apply the plastic with the design face down on the nail, smooth out, press into the cuticle areas and let dry, approximately 20 minutes.

When dry pull off plastic like you would a band aid, really fast.  You will end up with a nail that looks like this.  Use a cuticle stick and remove and excess design or nail polish remover on Q-tip.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!  Please comment, share and subscribe!!  Send me pictures of your designs and manicures!!
THANKS...REEN!!

  2. Thank you for following! One thing I learned about water marble is do not give up on the first try..LOL... I need to do my nails now and have been working on the design and have not been able to get it just right. That is why I always try out designs on fake nails first. A lot easier if it is not what I want. Just pick up a package at the dollar store and it is cheap to do it that way. Should have a new blog up later today or tomorrow. THANKS FOR READING!!! REEN

I definatley nailed the marbling part but have been rackin my brain trying to figure out a way to do my toes without having to dip them in the cup. I thank you for the tip and cant wait to go home and try this.
