Halloween Nail Design - EZ

Here is a Halloween Nail Design that is simple and easy to do.

Quick and fast and you really can't make a mistake.  I've been doing it for 3 years and always get a lot of comments on this design.  I love water marble and have seen similar designs, but for this one I prefer to do it this way.  Thanks for watching and reading, please comment and subscribe.

TOENAIL WATER MARBLE SUMMER BREEZE

I haven't posted in awhile and just wanted to show everyone I did watermarble my toes.  I didn't give step by step directions as I did a post on that before.  The only change in the process is taking the design off the plastic before you put it on, instead of putting it on and pulling it off.  I found it is easier to use quick drying polish and remove the water marble design from the plastic and applying it, and of course follow with a top coat.

Neon finger marble attempt

Hi Everyone, I got some neon nail polishes last week and was excited to try them. If it had been my first time water marbling I would have given up! I could not get them to make a design. I tried changing water like 4 times, change the cup I use, still nothing. Finally I mixed 2 of the neons with one of my other polishes and got a design I could where. I am going on vacation tomorrow for a couple days and really wanted to get my nails done, finally this afternoon I made it. Not the best but it will do. I am going to try and do my toenails tonight with my water marble sheets. If I get it done I will post a picture for you. Watch for a new blog next week. Maybe I can figure out something with these neon colors. Thanks for reading and watching. Please subscribe, share and comment. HAVE A GREAT DAY! REEN

TOENAIL WATER MARBLE..NO TAPE..NO DIPPING!!! WOW

Hi people!  I was surfing blogs and videos during the last week and saw one that I love and am sure you will too!!!  I have thought about water marbling my toenails for summer, but thought about it and said "nah don't think I want to tape my toes up and try and dip them in a cup.  Regular polish will have to do".  That was till I saw this.  You will need all your regular supplies plus a ziplock bag.  You need to cut the bag into circles (leave a little tab on edge) that will fit on top of your water in your cup.  Now start out like normal and make your bulls eye.

Continue with your design.

Now take one of your circles and put it on top of the design.  If you need to use your toothpick to make sure it is covering your design.

Let it sit for about 15 - 20 seconds and then grab the little tab, using tweezers makes this easier and remove.  It will have a tendency to curl.

Sit it on a paper towel with design facing up.  Try to straighten out as much as you can, using tweezers and toothpick.

Sit and let dry.

I am going to show you a few more pics of designs I did.  Once they are dry you can put them in your manicure kit and save till you are ready to use.  After the pics I will show you how to use them.

OK now take your plastic circle with the design and cut to approximate size of nail that you are applying it to.  Apply base color to nail and wait approximate 4 minutes, apply the plastic with the design face down on the nail, smooth out, press into the cuticle areas and let dry, approximately 20 minutes.

When dry pull off plastic like you would a band aid, really fast.  You will end up with a nail that looks like this.  Use a cuticle stick and remove and excess design or nail polish remover on Q-tip.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!  Please comment, share and subscribe!!  Send me pictures of your designs and manicures!!
THANKS...REEN!!

I did a Blue, Pink and White water marble that I want to share. I had to do two videos as the first did not show a good view of my finished nails. Sorry about that, still getting use to blogging and taking videos and inserting them. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to read my blog and watch my video's, they will get better. I will be doing another design this week and share it with you. It's all about fun colors and designs for now. I hope you enjoy and even get some of your own idea's. Please share with me any you do. Again thanks for reading and watching and please subscribe and share. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

TAPPING TIPS

I did a short tutorial on nail taping. I have watched several videos and they always use scotch tape. I prefer to use painter,s tape, it is like masking tape, but gets around the edges of your nail really well. I also tried the chapstick method and what a mess, wouldn't suggest that to anyone. With the painter's tape there is no need to use nail polish remover when you are done to clen around your nails. Thanks for reading and watching! Please subscribe and share. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! BLUE, PINK, WHITE AND PURPLE WATER MARBLE

Whenever I buy nail polish if they have white on sale I grab it. It seems I use alot of white if I use it in designs and as a base coat, so I like to make sure I always have enough.  I also tried the other day to use chapstick on my finger instead of tape and never again.  I have seen several people say you could use that instead of taping.  It was a mess.  Maybe I used the wrong kind, but I will stick to taping.
I had a request from my niece to do a blue, pink, white and purple design.  I came up with 3 designs.  I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme wear, bubblegum pink, violet voltage, white on, and blue it.  Here is the 1st design:

Start out making your bulls eye.

Continue building your bulls eye. Because the blue takes over so much I only used one drop.

Once you get your bulls eye up you want to use a toothpick and draw from the edge (not all the way to the edge, that area drys quickly and it will make it hard to try and draw in) towards the center.

You want to draw in like in half and then again in half, but not all the way to the middle.

After that you want to draw in like in between the areas that you have already done.

Now you want to find the area where you like the pattern to dip your nail.

Now make sure you get all the excess polish out around it.  You can use a toothpick or q-tip to do this.  The polish that is left will make a film that you can just take out.  Sometimes if you can you can blow on the water a little to make it film faster.

When it is clear, take out your nail.  You can remove your tape and go on to next nail.  When you feel like you are getting the hang of it you can do two nails at a time.  When they are done apply a top coat of clear polish.

Now the next design is the same to start.  Build your bulls eye.

Again only one drop of blue.

With this one you want to take your toothpick and draw from the center out to the edge on opposite sides.

Now do it on the opposite sides.

Now draw out in between those four areas.

And now again in between those areas.

I actually did two nails from this.

Here are a few more shots of these designs.  There are four, two from one cup and one where I had tried more blue.  I didn't show you that setup.  It is like the first one except more drops of blue were added.

I will be trying to load another video in the next two days of what I have come up with for my nails.  Thank you for reading, please stop back, and it would be great if you subscribe!  HAVE A GREAT DAY! It's really not that hard after you try it a couple times.  Try it and enjoy!  Send pics of your nails.

SPRING/EASTER - Repost videos

I don't know why my videos are not working.  If anyone has any ideas please let me know. For now I am going to repost my videos and see if they work.  Blogger is starting an update in April, so I have no idea if that has anything to do with it.  Sorry for the inconvience.
