Whenever I buy nail polish if they have white on sale I grab it. It seems I use alot of white if I use it in designs and as a base coat, so I like to make sure I always have enough. I also tried the other day to use chapstick on my finger instead of tape and never again. I have seen several people say you could use that instead of taping. It was a mess. Maybe I used the wrong kind, but I will stick to taping.
I had a request from my niece to do a blue, pink, white and purple design. I came up with 3 designs. I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme wear, bubblegum pink, violet voltage, white on, and blue it. Here is the 1st design:
Start out making your bulls eye.
Continue building your bulls eye. Because the blue takes over so much I only used one drop.
Once you get your bulls eye up you want to use a toothpick and draw from the edge (not all the way to the edge, that area drys quickly and it will make it hard to try and draw in) towards the center.
You want to draw in like in half and then again in half, but not all the way to the middle.
After that you want to draw in like in between the areas that you have already done.
Now you want to find the area where you like the pattern to dip your nail.
Now make sure you get all the excess polish out around it. You can use a toothpick or q-tip to do this. The polish that is left will make a film that you can just take out. Sometimes if you can you can blow on the water a little to make it film faster.
When it is clear, take out your nail. You can remove your tape and go on to next nail. When you feel like you are getting the hang of it you can do two nails at a time. When they are done apply a top coat of clear polish.
Now the next design is the same to start. Build your bulls eye.
Again only one drop of blue.
With this one you want to take your toothpick and draw from the center out to the edge on opposite sides.
Now do it on the opposite sides.
Now draw out in between those four areas.
And now again in between those areas.
I actually did two nails from this.
Here are a few more shots of these designs. There are four, two from one cup and one where I had tried more blue. I didn't show you that setup. It is like the first one except more drops of blue were added.
I will be trying to load another video in the next two days of what I have come up with for my nails. Thank you for reading, please stop back, and it would be great if you subscribe! HAVE A GREAT DAY! It's really not that hard after you try it a couple times. Try it and enjoy! Send pics of your nails.
