Hi!  My name is Maureen but everyone calls me Reen.  I am going to attempt to do some blogging on nail water marbling and other fingernail art.  This is my first time blogging so sorry if it takes me a couple to get use to it.
I got into water marbling last October.  I usually do my nails for the holidays and was looking for something for TThanksgiving and can across water marbling.  I loved it and decided I wanted to try it.  I looked at a lot of different videos and things and then stared to practice it.  I went to the dollar store and got some fake nails and glued toothpicks on them and then started mixing different nail polishes and doing them.  I came up with so many, it was great.  When it came time to try it out on me I had a roll of the blue painters tape (the kind you use when you are painting) and decided to use that.  I was surprised at how good my first attempt came out.  I think the practice with the fake nails really helped. Since then that is the only way I have been doing my nails.

That was my first attempt and I did not even have to clean around my nails when I took off the tape.  I hope you enjoyed this and I am going to try to post a new blog each week with tips and designs.  Thanks for reading.
